Transactions on Additive Manufacturing Meets Medicine (Trans. AMMM) provides an interdisciplinary scientific platform at the interface of engineering, materials science, life sciences, and medicine. The journal brings together researchers, clinicians, industry experts, and entrepreneurs to present and discuss advances in additive manufacturing and their translation into medical research, clinical practice, and healthcare applications.

The journal focuses on the development, characterization, and application of additive manufacturing technologies in medicine. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, printed anatomical models for diagnostics, treatment planning, training, and medical education, with applications in fields such as internal medicine, ophthalmology, neonatology, oncology, orthopedics, dentistry, rehabilitation, and veterinary medicine.

Further key areas include patient-specific implants and prostheses, orthoses and assistive devices, surgical instruments and guides, drug delivery systems, tissue engineering, bioprinting, and the development of novel biomaterials and bioinks.
