A typical full-length manuscript submitted to Transactions on AMMM proceeds through the following stages:
- Submission
Authors submit their manuscript together with all required metadata and supplementary materials through the journal’s online submission system. - Initial Editorial Screening and Assignment
The submission is assessed for completeness, compliance with formal and ethical requirements, scientific suitability, and alignment with the journal’s Aims & Scope. Suitable manuscripts are assigned to a handling editor with appropriate subject-matter expertise. - Peer Review
The handling editor invites at least two independent experts to evaluate the manuscript. Trans. AMMM follows a single-blind peer-review process, in which reviewers assess the scientific quality, methodological rigor, technical accuracy, relevance, and clarity of the work. - Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ reports and the editor’s own assessment, an editorial decision is made. The manuscript may be accepted, returned for minor or major revision, or rejected. - Author Revision and Further Review
Where revisions are requested, authors submit a revised manuscript together with a response addressing the reviewers’ and editor’s comments. Depending on the extent of the revisions, the manuscript may undergo one or more additional rounds of peer review and editorial assessment. - Final Assessment and Acceptance
Once the scientific and editorial requirements have been satisfactorily addressed, the handling editor conducts a final assessment and, where appropriate, accepts the manuscript for publication. - Copyediting
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting to ensure consistency, clarity, accuracy, and conformity with the journal’s editorial and formatting standards. Authors may be asked to review and approve editorial changes. - Production and Proofreading
The manuscript is prepared for publication, including layout and generation of the final publication files. Authors receive proofs for a final check and correction of production-related errors. - Publication and Archiving
Following final approval, the article is published online as part of Transactions on AMMM. The published article and associated metadata are permanently archived and made available for indexing, discovery, and long-term access.
