The journal provides an interdisciplinary forum connecting engineering, materials science, manufacturing technology, biomedical research, clinical medicine, and regulatory science. Particular emphasis is placed on research that bridges traditionally separated disciplines and contributes to the safe, effective, and evidence-based translation of additive manufacturing technologies into healthcare.
The journal welcomes fundamental, methodological, preclinical, clinical, and translational research and particularly encourages contributions demonstrating the connection between technological innovation, biological or clinical requirements, validation, and implementation.
