Conference Proceedings Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- Only original research can be submitted for oral and poster presentations. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The abstract is divided into the following sections: Background, Methods, Results and, finally, Conclusions. The submission file is in Microsoft Word and the template was used accurately (i.e. the manuscript adheres to the stylistic requirements given in the template file). No word processing are used that alters the format styles (e. g. Libre Office or similar).
The abstract is written in English and limited to 300 words. The document includes one title (< 20 words). It can be accompanied by up to 2 references.
- During submission, the contribution must be assigned to one of the conference topics
Submission implies the willingness of at least one author to register, attend the conference, and present the research. Accepted abstracts must be presented in person and in English.
- Authors are encouraged to summarize the key findings of their abstract in a video message (max. 100 seconds; max. 20 MB) which can be uploaded during the abstract submission. Video messages of accepted abstracts will be included in the EMCHD 2024 Conference App.
